Photo Shoot with Cousins

My kids and their four cousins were finally all going to be in the same place at the same time so their moms and I decided a photo shoot was in order!  A few weeks before meeting up, I made coordinating shirts for all the cousins to wear.  We decided on using the first letter of the kids' first names on the shirt. I cut out the letters and used iron-on adhesive backing to attach them to the shirts.  I think they turned out cute!  One of my nieces made the matching hair bows for the girls! Aren't these kids adorable?! :-)

These baby girls are 5 days apart in age.  This is the first time they met each other :)

Baby Captain America - Girl Halloween Costume

My son wanted to be Captain America for Halloween this year.  So we bought him a Deluxe Captain American costume  which he happily tried on as soon as it arrived in the mail!  He then informed me that he wanted his baby sister to be "Baby Captain America" for Halloween.  I looked at the costumes online but didn't see anything I particularly cared for so I decided to make one for her.  

I cut out the circles and star and attached them to a dark blue leotard using iron-on adhesive.  I then made a tutu using tulle in red, white and blue.  She wore red and white striped leg warmers and an adorable hair bow with the Captain America shield attached.
